New Life Options

Founded by Executive Director Matthew Bacoate, New Life Options reaches out to serve substance abusers, assisting them with after care needs of those who have demonstrated a willingness to commit to change. As a comprehensive community re-entry program, New Life Options supports non-violent offenders by assisting them in staying out of the criminal justice system. Each year New Life Options serves hundreds of men and women looking for a second chance.

Beginning with a conversation between Joe and Charlie Kimmel and Brad Galbraith of Kimmel and Associates and Eblen-Kimmel Charitable Group founder Joe Eblen, the Center for Social Enterprise was approached with the possibility to assist New Life Options with their restructuring and provide financial and managerial oversight as they begin a new period of growth.

Lou Bissette, we saw an opportunity for the Center for Social Enterprise to reach out and help those who have fallen but striving to regain their balance. This is a new venture for the Center, but an important one, as we look to vital and strategic partnerships and alliances that will serve to strengthen our community. New Life Options runs independently with its own director and board.
