Eblen Heroes for Hope
- The Eblen Heroes for Hope Program brings a different and creative aspect to bringing help to children in Western North Carolina who are fighting illnesses and disabilities. This original concept developed by renowned artist Jackson Guice, best know for his work on Superman, Disney's Toy Story and the Little Mermaid brings artists, athletes, musicians, and businesses together to raise funds and bring a greater awareness of the needs of the children and families that the Eblen Charities serve.
- Led by Super Bowl XXXVII champion Tampa Bay Buccaneer Quarterback, Brad Johnson and artist Jackson Guice, Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised with the help of many celebrities as well as organizations such as the Speedway Children's Charities and the World Wrestling Entertainment.
- Funds are raised through direct donations and events such as the Heroes for Hope 10k Walk, the Heroes for Hope Poker Run, the Comic Artists and Fantasy Writers Convention at Madison Square Garden and two unique programs involving chairman Brad Johnson and Tennessee Men's Basketball Coach, Buzz Peterson. Through these programs local businesses, corporations, and individuals pledge a certain dollar amount for every touchdown Brad scores or every win that Buzz's Tennessee Vols has during the season.
