Eblen Charities co-founder and executive director William Murdock was featured as the keynote speaker on Thursday, March 22nd at the TED-X / Riverton Conference in Riverton, Utah.
Murdock spoke on the work of Eblen Charities, the Eblen Center for Social Enterprise, and on his latest best selling book “Find Your Own Calcutta-Living a Life of Service and Meaning in a Selfish World” published by Westbow Press a division of Harper/Collins.
“Bill was a natural choice to close the TEDxRiverton event. The work he does with such grace in his community is one-of-a-kind. His passion for helping others and treating everyone he greets with the same respect is admirable. I know he will inspires others to find their own Calcutta, as Mother Teresa once told him.” stated organizer, Mandy Murry.
“What is so important about TED and TEDx is the fact that it makes the uncomfortable, comfortable. Ideas worth spreading that blow the walls out of boxes or open your eyes to see things in a different light. It’s not about agreeing, it’s about exploring and learning something different, and saying wow – I never thought about that”
