“We are excited and most grateful to Ingles, their vendors, and our other partners once again, as well as Jim, Adam, Beth and JJ for joining us for Headlock on Hunger, not only lending their name but their time and effort to touch so many children and continue our fight against children’s hunger in our community” states Bill Murdock, executive director of Eblen Charities.

“I am honored to be a part of the Headlock on Hunger team and serve as the national chairman,” adds Jim Ross, “as there is nothing more important or rewarding than to help feed a child in need. Hunger will be pinned.”

“I am honored and thrilled to have been offered the role of National Vice-Chair for Headlock on Hunger. This local effort is near and dear to my heart because, being a mother to two beautiful little girls, I know how important it is to nourish our children’s bodies, challenge their minds and meet their needs,” states Beth. “No child should feel empty. A full tummy is a basic necessity for a child to be able to learn, grow and play. Most of all, every child deserves to feel nurtured and loved. I am so proud to be a part of Headlock on Hunger and the continuing effort of our community to end childhood hunger for good!”

In addition many of Ingles vendors are joining the fight by generously donating their products to make sure all students will not have to face hunger as well as additional Headlock on Hunger partners WLOS-TV, iheart Radio, Asheville Citizen-Times, Arby’s, the Brumit Restaurant Group, and WNC Wrestlers in Business.
