Ingles / Eblen Magical Christmas Toy Drive Next Week

For thousands of families and their children in our community the Christmas season doesn’t begin in the pre-dawn hours With Christmas just a month away, the phones at Eblen Charities continue to ring, and more and more families line up at our door each morning than we have seen anytime in the past. Last Tuesday alone we registered more than 100 families alone.

This year, with requests for holiday assistance growing, we are honored to once again to be teaming up with our friends at Ingles Markets, WLOS and My 40-TV, Star 104.3, WWNC 570, and Rock 104.9 of iHeartRadio, Wicked Weed Brewing, Two Men and a Truck, Great Beginnings Dentistry, Asheville Citizen-Times, Pepsi, the Smoky Mountain Toy Run, and the WNC Harley Owners Group for the Seventh Annual Ingles Magical Christmas Toy Drive.

The Ingles Magical Christmas Toy Drive will once again help provide gifts to thousands of children and bring excitement, bright eyes, and happy faces on Christmas Morning. The event will be held at the Ingles on Tunnel Road (across from Outback) and will begin on Thursday, December 1st and run through the afternoon of Saturday December 3rd. 99.9 Kiss Country as well as other iHeart Radio stations, along with WLOS TV, will be broadcasting the toy drive that will bring a Merry Christmas to thousands of families in our community. Hours for the Toy Drive are Thursday November 29th – 4:30 AM to 8 PM, Friday November 30th – 6:00 AM until 8:00 PM, and Saturday December 1st – 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

New, unwrapped toys and monetary donations will be accepted for the Saint Nicholas Project during the drive and the entire Christmas Season at Eblen Charities Waddell Client Service Center at 50 Westgate Parkway in the Westgate Shopping Center in West Asheville.
