Hoops Against Hunger

The 2020, 3rd annual Hoops Against Hunger Hotel Challenge brought in a record amount of food for kids who may not have enough to eat while away from school on Spring Break. More than 10,000 snacks and meals, nearly 5000 pounds of food were collected at the hotels and the Ingles SoCon Basketball Tournament. 

Wicked Weed / Brad Johnson Golf Classic

Thanks to Etowah Valley Golf Resort for hosting one of the first tournaments in WNC with COVID-19 restrictions.  Eblen raised over $20,000 to help those in need in our community.


Ingles Tools for Schools Supply Drive and Distribution

Together we helped more than 600 children get school supplies, easing the financial burden on the family, helping teachers and helping the children feel confident and happy to start school!


BOOsters and Pumpkins

This year the pandemic has changed the way we do things almost daily. The BOOsters and Pumpkins fundraiser is one of Eblen’s key fundraisers, helping hundreds of families receive assistance throughout the year.


Giving Thanks at Thanksgiving

Eblen, along with its’ many partners, provides a turkey and all the fixings at Thanksgiving to those in need in our community.  

Moving to Spring 2021

The Walk

With the challenges of COVID-19, the 20th Walk will move to the Spring of 2021.  Plans are underway for an exciting celebration.

Smoky Mountain Toy Run


Ingles Magical Christmas Toy Drive

The Ingles Magical Christmas Toy Drive is a three day event held at Ingles on Tunnel Rd. to collect Christmas donations for children and families in our community who are struggling to provide Christmas for their children.  This event benefits the Eblen Charities’ Saint Nicholas Project. 

 The Saint Nicholas Project is in Partnership with Ingles Markets, WLOS-TV, iHeartRadio, Asheville-Citizen Times, Great Beginnings and Great Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, the Harley’s Owner’s Group, the Smoky Mountain Toy Run, Two Men and a Truck, and hundreds of other businesses and families.
